Admin Manager

Our client, a citrus and table grape producer in the Malmesbury/ Riebeeck area, has a vacancy for an Admin Manager to lead a team responsible for all administrative and financial duties. The position will report to the General Manager and is available immediately.

Main duties: 


  • Creditors/ debtors: processing of invoices & payments of accounts by due date
  • Wage and salary: all aspects relating to
  • administration and payments of wages and salaries
  • Provide accurate reports re monthly wages and farm expenditure
  • Maintain variance report (Update expense spreadsheet against the budget)
  • Financial controls relating to packing material
  • Annual Farm/pack house audits

General admin and office administration

  • HR administration
  • Health and safety administration
  • Food safety administration and oversight
  • Arrange and record keeping of training
  • Administration and record keeping of fuel sheets
  • Insurance administration
  • Logistics administration regarding finished product stock movement
  • Assist general manager with admin functions
  • Any ad hoc duty that might be required of you from time to time


  • Grade 12 with at least five years’ relevant experience in a similar position with knowledge of general farm administration
  • General accounting experience up to trial balance
  • Computer literate (MS Office)
  • Knowledge of financial systems
  • Strong administrative and management skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication skills
