Citrus Production Manager / Sitrus Produksiebestuurder

Our client is an established, progressive citrus business in the Olifants River Valley (Citrus Valley). A career opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced Production Manager is currently available.

This is the ideal opportunity to get involved in an established citrus production unit. Management of the unit will be self-contained, but in consultation with a management team’s guidance.

Key responsibilities will focus on:

  • The precision management of production-related matters which include planning and organising in relation to production, manpower, infrastructure, budgeting and administration

Requirements:

  • An agriculturally oriented tertiary qualification and at least 7 years’ relevant and practical experience in citrus/fruit production
  • Proven management skills and potential
  • Outstanding leadership qualities and team building abilities
  • Be keen on professionalism and cleanliness
  • Honesty and good communication skills
  • Well-developed computer skills and an active interest in modern and technological farming practices

Hierdie is die ideale geleentheid om betrokke te raak op ‘n gevestigde sitrus produksie eenheid. Bestuur van die eenheid sal selfstandig, maar in oorleg met ‘n bestuurspan se teiding wees.

 

Steutel verantwoordelikhede:

‘n Fokus op presiesie bestuur van produksie verwante aangeleenthede wat beplaning en organisering t.o.v die volgende insluit: produksie, mannekrag, infrastruktuur, begroting en administrasie.

 

Vereistes:

  • ‘n Landbougerigte tersiere kwalifikasie en minstens 7 jaar toepaslike en praktiese ervaring in sitrus/vrugte produksie
  • Bewese bestuursvaardighede en -potensiaal
  • Uitstaande leiereinskappe en spanbou vermoens
  • Gesteld wees op professionaliteit en netheid
  • Eerlikheid en goeie kommunikasie vaardighede
  • Goed ontwikkelde rekenaarvaardighede en ‘n aktiewe belangstelling in moderne en tegnotogiese boerdery praktyke.
