Financial Manager (Executive level position)
Our client is one of South Africa’s largest fruit-packing and marketing companies close to Grabouw in the Western Cape. The Financial Manager will oversee and manage the financial operations and information technology services.
Financial accountabilities include financial planning, reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Accountability for Information Technology includes network functionality and security and suitable hardware and software applications that enable business processes.
The role requires an individual with strong financial acumen, embedded information technology systems and security applications, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with senior management, growers and other relevant stakeholders.

Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant (CA/CIMA)
- An MBA will be an advantage
- At least 8 years of post-SAICA articles experience
- Experience as an EXCO/Board Member
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in financial and IT management within the fruit industry
- Expertise in reviewing commercial contracts, shareholder agreements, and transactions
- Experience with international and local audits, including B-BBEE reporting
- Skilled in managing shareholder and contract accounts (Pools)
- Proven ability to manage teams, including motivation and discipline
