Maintenance Coordinator (Piketberg)

Our client is a leading grower, packer, and exporter of fresh fruit (citrus, avocados and table grapes) in South Africa. Their production units are situated across the Western Cape, with their head office in Bellville near Cape Town.

The company has a vacancy for a Maintenance Coordinator at their farm about 10km outside of Piketberg. The position will report to the Area Manager and is available immediately.

Responsibilities:

  • Hostels and buildings: General repairs, gas installation and maintenance / manage cleaning teams / garden maintenance
  • Workshop: General maintenance, auto electrical work, services, stock control
  • Irrigation maintenance of pump houses, main lines, installations and boreholes

Requirements:

  • Grade 12
  • Proven technical aptitude
  • Technical post matric qualification will be to your advantage
  • Driver’s license will be beneficial
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical / electrical maintenance
  • Organisational & supervisory skills
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
