Sales Representative
Our client is a rooibos export and marketing company, known for a wide and innovative range of value-added rooibos products, directly linked to their farms and the people working in the fields and managing the quality of product they are producing. They are currently seeking a self-motivated Sales Representative to join their team and play a pivotal role in their ongoing success. This position is based in Cape Town.
Job Description:
As a Sales Representative of Carmién Rooibos Tea, you will be responsible for interacting with new and existing customers to grow product presence in direct outlets (shops, deli’s, hotels, restaurants, spa’s etc). The ideal candidate must have excellent communications skills and a vibrant personality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain sales at existing sales outlets and actively gain new sales opportunities and outlets (within the greater Cape Town area)
- Ensure customer service satisfaction and maintain excellent customer relationships
- Assisting with and hosting events
- Regular feedback on existing client base and new client pipeline
- Development and updating of travel routes based on demand and requirement
- Supporting the wider sales team in occasional retail store visits
Knowledge/Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Outgoing and assertive
- Able to handle rejection
- Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve and address complaints
- Performance driven
- Well-organised
- Strong planning & administration skills
- Ability to work independently
Requirements
- Driver’s license & own reliable vehicle (will be traveling 3+ days a week)
- Ability to work remotely – access to reliable internet and workspace
