SOAR! Leadership for Supervisors
The purpose of the programme:
Team leaders and Supervisors must align their unit’s efforts with the organisation’s goals and strategies and create a work environment in which employees are committed, feel pride and take ownership. This poses new challenges and requires new skills from those needed for success as an individual contributor: a transition many first line leaders do not feel sufficiently prepared for.
Changing behaviour is a process, not a once off occurrence. Our learning approach is therefore staggered and blended, combining face to face training with 180 degrees feedback, practical assignments, interactive coaching circles, buddy coaching and management support. This approach ensures sustainable transfer of learning back into the workplace.
The programme helps team leaders and supervisors grow in competence, confidence and commitment. It empowers them with the knowledge, skills and mindset to work effectively with others and to motivate and develop them. It increases their personal commitment to the organisation and its goals and inspires them to approach their role with pride and enthusiasm.
