Harvest Assistant
Our client, an olive producer in the Paarl region, has an opportunity for a Harvest Assistant to join their operation on a temporary basis from March 2024 to August 2024.
The purpose of the job is to support and assist with the receiving and weighing of fresh olives at the processing facility and the filling of fermentation tanks and pump overs.
Key Performance Areas:
- Effectively and speedily execute all tasks allocated by the Production Manager, while ensuring that Health and Safety practices are always adhered to
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Experience in fresh fruit handling will be advantageous
- Computer literate
- Interpersonal skills
- Problem solving
- Work well under pressure for long hours
- Ability to function independently
