Grading Store Supervisor

Our client, an olive producer in the Paarl region, has an opportunity for a Grading Store Supervisor to join their operation.

The Grading Store Supervisor is responsible for the receiving, weighing, sorting, and sizing of all fresh olives received at the processing plant. The job incumbent must also assist the Production Manager in the curing of graded olives.

Key Performance Areas:

  • Ensure the efficient, accurate and precise weighing and grading of fresh olives
  • Supervision of Grading Store Staff
  • Adherence to Health and Safety requirements
  • Accurate recordkeeping of fresh and graded olives (mass balance)

 Requirements:

  • Minimum of Grade 12
  • 2 Years’ supervisory experience
  • Experience in fresh fruit handling and processing will be advantageous
  • Good Excel and Microsoft Office experience
  • Own transport with a code EB driver’s license
