Maintenance Coordinator (Piketberg)

Our client is a producer, packer and exporter of citrus fruit and table grapes, with farms and pack houses in the Western Cape.

The company has a vacancy for a Maintenance Coordinator at their farm about 10km outside of Piketberg. The position will report to the area manager and is available immediately.

A market related total cost to company package is offered with pension fund benefits.

 

Responsibilities include:

• Hostels and buildings:
  • General repairs Gas installation/ maintenance
  • Manage cleaning teams
  • Garden maintenance
• Workshop:
  • General maintenance
  • Auto electrical work
  • Services
  • Stock control
• Irrigation maintenance of:
  • Pump houses
  • Main lines
  • Installations
  • Boreholes

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Proven technical aptitude
• Technical post matric qualification will be to your advantage
• Basic knowledge of mechanical / electrical maintenance
• Organisational & supervisory skills
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
• Driver’s license will be beneficial
