Logistics Assistant (Fruit Export)
Our client in the fruit industry distributes and markets the fruit of South Africa’s leading deciduous fruit producers. They currently have an opportunity for a Logistics Assistant to join their team.
The Logistics Assistant will form part of a team that serves as a link between the packhouses and the freight forwarders. The daily task will be liaising with the stakeholders and ensuring a seamless flow of communication. Accurate and deadline-driven submission of documentation will also be an important task.
This position is based in Somerset West.
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- B.Comm Logistics or relevant qualification will be advantageous
- At least 2 years’ experience in logistics in the fruit industry
- Strong administrative skills
- Attentive to detail
- Strong communication skills
