Finance Manager

Our client is an established producer, packer and exporter of citrus and table grapes with production units and pack houses in the Western Cape. They are looking for a dynamic and detail-driven Finance Manager to take ownership of their financial operations and play a key role in driving business success.

This role is perfect for a hands-on leader with strong technical expertise and a passion for continuous improvement. This office-based position is based at their head office in Bellville, Western Cape and will report to the Group Finance Manager.

Duties:

• Lead monthly reporting and tax submissions
• Keep us fully compliant with financial regulations and CIPC requirements
• Manage payments, legal agreements, insurance, and credit applications
• Partner with auditors and strengthen internal controls
• Mentor and manage departmental staff across our production units
• Continuously improve financial systems and processes for accuracy and efficiency
• Take ownership of exciting ad hoc finance projects

 Requirements: 

• Relevant tertiary finance qualification – CA(SA) qualification will be to your advantage
• Strong finance background with management experience (minimum 8 years)
• Agriculture industry experience is an advantage
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and solutions- driven
• Skilled in compliance, reporting, and financial systems
• Hands-on leader who thrives in a dynamic environment
• Willingness to travel as needed from time to time
