Export Logistics Coordinator & Data Analyst

Our client, a citrus producer, packer, and exporter, is committed to excellence and seeks an Export Logistics Coordinator & Data Analyst to join their dedicated Marketing team.

Their marketing team’s strategic objective is to position the company as a preferred supplier to global retailers & select target markets in the global citrus market.

The Export Logistics Coordinator & Data Analyst will be responsible for day-to-day stock management and coordination of export logistics with service providers and shipping lines. Developing and maintaining day-to-day data integrity and reporting

The ideal candidate should be proactive, adaptable, and possess excellent organizational, communication and numerical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate Export Logistics:
    • Stock management & load-outs
    • Vessel bookings & instructions
    • Coordinate execution of export loads with 3rd party service providers, i.e. freight forwarders and shipping lines etc.
    • Track shipments and provide regular updates to stakeholders regarding shipment status and potential delays.
  • Export Supply Chain Financial Controls:
    • Receive & update total supply chain costings for export markets
    • Collaborate with freight forwarders and shipping lines to optimize shipping routes and reduce costs.
    • Manage and sign off on logistics costs
  • Export administration (updating systems, export schedule, stock levels and updating of program volumes)
  • Stay up to date with market trends, industry developments, product knowledge and industry best practices to effectively address customer inquiries and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Reporting and Data analysis to optimize costs and efficiencies in the supply chain.
  • Reporting of exceptions in data and the supply chain.

 Requirements:

  • Applicable tertiary qualification, and continuous learning attitude
  • Relevant experience, preferably within fruit industry
  • Advanced management and numerical capability
  • Computer Literacy
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership and communication skills
  • Willingness and ability to work and prosper within a team environment
  • Self-motivated, driven, resilient and humble
