Assistent Produksie Bestuurder (Appels & Pere) / Assistant Production Manager (Apples & Pears)

Ons kliënt in die Elgin-omgewing is op soek na ’n praktiese en vaardige persoon om by hul span aan te sluit as ‘n Assistent Produksie Bestuurder  vir die verbouing van 145ha appels en pere.

Hoofverantwoordelikhede:

  • Toesighouding van plukspanne/produktiwiteit/kwaliteit
  • Beplanning en uitvoering van algemene take

Vereistes:

  • Praktiese, tegniese kennis van plaasmasjinerie en instandhouding
  • Goeie probleemoplossingsvermoë
  • Wel-bekend met die landbou-omgewing
  • Betroubare werksetiek en goeie kommunikasievaardighede
  • Geldige bestuurslisensie

Die volgende sal voordelig wees:

  • Iemand wat op soek is na praktiese ervaring in ’n dinamiese landbou-omgewing
  • Basiese meganiese of tegniese opleiding sal ’n voordeel wees

Our client in the Elgin area is looking for a practical and skilled person to join their team as an Assistant Production Manager for the cultivation of 145ha of apples and pears. This position reports to the Production Manager.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supervision of picking teams/productivity/quality
  • Planning and execution of general tasks

Requirements:

  • Practical, technical knowledge of farm machinery and maintenance
  • Good problem-solving ability
  • Familiarity with the agricultural environment
  • Reliable work ethic and good communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license

The following will be advantageous:

  • Someone looking for hands-on experience in a dynamic agricultural environment
  • Basic mechanical or technical training will be an advantage
