Verpakkings Tegnikus / Packaging Technician

Ons kliënt is ‘n gevestigde speler in die rooibosbedryf en spesialiseer in die produksie, verwerking, verpakking en uitvoer van hoëgehalte rooibostee. Hulle bied tans ‘n uitstekende geleentheid vir ’n tegnikus om by hul span aan te sluit as Verpakkings Tegnikus.

Doel van die posisie:

Om verantwoordelikheid te neem vir die instandhouding, onderhoud en herstel van produksie- en verpakkingsmasjiene. Om optimale effektiwiteit op produksie- en verpakkingsmasjiene te verseker.

 Kernverantwoordelikhede:

  • Algemene meganies en elektriese onderhoud en herstelwerk
  • Verseker optimale effektiwiteit van produksie- en verpakkingsmasjiene deur monitering, foutopsporing, onderhoud en aanpassings
  • Beperk verpakkingsmateriaal afval deur te verseker dat produksie- en verpakkingsmasjiene optimaal werk
  • Samestelling van ’n effektiewe onderhoudskedule van produksie- en verpakkingsmasjiene en die uitvoering daarvan
  • Bestuur staantye van produksie- en verpakkingsmasjiene
  • Ondersteuning met personeelbestuur van die afdeling
  • Verseker dat werksarea netjies is en dat veilige werksprosedures gevolg word en aan voedselveiligheid standaarde voldoen word

Vereistes:

  • Toepaslike naskoolse kwalifikasie of ondervinding sal in jou guns tel
  • Sterk praktiese tegniese aanvoeling en belangstelling in masjinerie en meganisasie
  • Elektriese aanleg en ondervinding
  • Meganiese aanleg en ondervinding
  • Probleemoplossing vaardighede
  • Uitstekende kommunikasie- en leierskapsvaardighede om effektief met personeel en departemente te skakel.
  • Minimum 1 jaar toepaslike ervaring in ‘n industriële, verwerking- of verpakkingsomgewing

Our client is an established player in the rooibos industry and specialises in the production, processing, packaging and export of high-quality rooibos tea. They currently offer an excellent opportunity for a technician to join their team as a Packaging Technician.

Purpose of the position:

To take responsibility for the maintenance, maintenance, and repair of production and packaging machines. To ensure optimal efficiency on production and packaging machines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • General mechanical and electrical maintenance and repairs
  • Ensure optimal efficiency of production and packaging machines through monitoring, fault detection, maintenance and adjustments
  • Reduce packaging material waste by ensuring that production and packaging machines work optimally
  • Compilation of an effective maintenance schedule of production and packaging machines and its execution
  • Manage downtime of production and packaging machines
  • Support with personnel management of the division
  • Ensure that work area is tidy and that safe working procedures are followed and food safety standards are met

Requirements:

  • Suitable tertiary qualification or experience will count in your favour
  • Strong practical technical flair and interest in machinery and mechanization
  • Aptitude for and experience in electronics
  • Mechanical aptitude and experience
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to connect effectively with staff and departments.
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in an industrial, processing, or packaging environment
