Maintenance Coordinator (Clanwilliam)

Our client is an internationally recognised grower, packer and exporter of citrus fruit and table grapes. Their farms and pack houses are situated across the Western Cape, with their head office in Bellville.

The company has a vacancy for a Maintenance Coordinator at their table grape and citrus pack house +-10km outside Clanwilliam. The position will report to the Packhouse Manager and is available immediately.

Responsibilities:

  • Report and repair any machine breakdowns
  • Preventative maintenance on all machines and equipment
  • Perform daily inspections
  • General building maintenance
  • Assist with general admin and office administration
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations

Requirements:

Applicants should be post-matric and hold any of the following qualifications:

  • N3 Filter or electrician
  • NQF4 Fitter or electrician
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar position
  • Willing to work irregular/night shift and long hours (as required in the packing industry)

A market related total cost to company package is offered with pension fund benefits.
