Cut-Flower Production Manager
Our client is looking for a dynamic Flower Production Manager specializing in the production of top-quality Chrysanthemums and Alstroemeria. The candidate must have sufficient horticultural knowledge to manage 4 hectares of greenhouse production with the support of the General Manager.
They are located 70 km east of Cape Town and is the largest producer of cut-flowers in the Western Cape and supplier to retailers.
The successful candidate will be fluent in English and Afrikaans, with a qualification in Horticulture or Floriculture, and have at least 3 to 5 years practical experience in growing flowers or a related field.
The ability to combine a scientific yet commercial approach is essential, with a keen eye for detail. Candidates with financial acumen will have an advantage.
