Accountant

Our client is a leading manufacturer and distributor of high quality small and large-scale fruit and vegetable grading and sorting equipment. They are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced individual to join their team. This position is based Paarl.

Duties:

• Preparation of monthly Management accounts, KPI’s, dashboards
• Preparation of Budgets and Latest Estimates
• HQ reporting
• VAT reconciliations & submissions
• Cash flow management
• Capex accounting & control
• Supporting function to business unit managers
• Other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization

Requirements:

• B. Comm (Accounting) or similar, CIMA preferred
• 3-5 years’ relevant experience
• Fruit industry experience would be advantageous
• ACCPAC experience desired not essential
• Own Transport & Driver’s license
• MS Office – Advanced Excel
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
• Ability to adapt to changing demands of the business
• Excellent Numerical skills and accuracy
• Results driven with initiative, planning and organizing skills
• Ability to work under pressure
