Developer

Our client, Farm Management Systems is an organization that offers cost-effective business- and integrated business information solutions to Farm and Winery Managers. They are seeking to appoint a Developer a 6-month contract basis. This position is based in Paarl and reports to the Manager WineMS.

Responsibilities:

• Adhere to coding standards and best practices
• Identify and implement appropriate design patterns
• Provide accurate effort estimates on development tasks
• Ability to break down user stories into development tasks
• Participate in code reviews and perform master build duties for continues integration
• Create design documents, source code, and other work products necessary for the ongoing success of the product(s)
• Research and implement the latest technologies

Requirements:

• A degree in Computer Science with minimum of 5 years’ relevant Development experience
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in React
  Working knowledge of the following:
• • HTML, CSS, JavaScript as well as C#, Web API and relational databases (MS SQL)
    React/Redux, .Net Core, NPM and web pack, Visual Code
  • Git
• Passionate about UI development and UX with the ability to articulate it well
