Training Manager
Our client is a training company situated in Grabouw and specialises in agricultural training within the Elgin/Grabouw/Villiersdorp areas. As an employer that promotes equal opportunities they currently have an opportunity available for a Training Manager to manage their new Training Company.

Competencies Required:
- Matric with a relevant qualification at a University or University of Technology, ie HR Management or Behavioural Science would be advantageous
- Qualification as an Assessor and preferably a Moderator
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience which includes the full scope for training and development functions
- The ability to lead a trained development team
- Computer literacy
- Good interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Good organisational skills
- The ability to multi-task
Key Performance Areas:
- Develop core structured learning paths, curriculum and learning programmes
- Responsible for the design, development and production of training materials, documents and manuals to ensure consistency and quality of content and delivery to meet the specific needs of the industry
- Manage the delivery of all learning programmes according to industry best practices and SETA offerings which support the industry needs (including the facilitation of courses)
- Source and manage external suppliers and preferred partners to improve the offerings across the training needs
- Draw up and manage the training budget
- Manage the staff complement at the Training Company
