Refrigeration Technician

Our client is a grower, packer and exporter of fruit in South Africa. They are currently looking for a suitable person to join their company as a refrigeration/packline technician in the Piketberg area.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring of Cooling Plants, CA and RA rooms (Gas regimes and Cooling temperatures)
  • Management of regimes as per protocol
  • Dealing with general maintenance on cooling and electrical units as well as packline machines
  • When needed, get contractors to support and ensure high maintenance standards fulfilled at all times

Requirements:

  • Must have at least a 5 years’ experience in relevant position
  • Must have an electrical experience
  • Qualification in ammonia/refrigeration technician position will strongly in your advance
  • Ability to work long/extended hours and drive deadlines
  • Strong internal client liaison
  • Good communication skills in both Afrikaans and English
