Farm Maintenance Assistant

Our client in the poultry industry is looking for a Maintenance Assistant to join their team. This position is based just outside of Paarl.

 Key Performance Areas:

  • Responsible for maintenance, safe operation and repair of all electrical and mechanical equipment on the farm as required
  • Assist Production Manager with production related tasks

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 plus N6 – Mechanical/Electrical or relevant production qualification
  • At least 5 years’ experience in maintenance of farming equipment
  • Knowledge of general farm maintenance and support
  • Able to work in multi discipline environment
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong people skills
  • Be able to work under pressure
