Junior Production Manager

Our client specializes in the production and export of table grapes and currently has an excellent opportunity for a hardworking and motivated individual to join their company. The specific production unit is located in the Porterville area. The Junior Production Manager will report to the Senior Production Manager. 

Responsibilities

  • Management and further development of unit in collaboration with the Senior production manager
  • Management of production quality
  • Irrigation
  • Fertilization and spraying of unit in collaboration with Senior Production Manager
  • Warehouse management
  • Recruitment and training of staff

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 with an appropriate qualification in agriculture
  • Minimum of 2-3 year’s relevant experience in table grape production
  • Basic knowledge of management systems (GlobalGap, etc.)
  • Must be able to work under pressure
  • Must be skilled in record keeping and administration
  • Good interpersonal relationships and communication skills
  • Computer literate
