Fruit Evaluator
Our client is a leading agricultural company in the Western Cape, specializing in the development of new fruit cultivars, is currently looking for an Assistant Evaluator for stone fruit, vineyard and citrus.
Requirement:
- Fruit evaluation in the field
- Documenting and record keeping of evaluation data
- Compilation and maintenance of block plans
- Compilation of evaluation reports
- Reporting of evaluation to management
- Management of mutation identification program
- Oversee the production aspects of 3 stone fruit premises, table grape and citrus premises as well as the management of the cultivar development teams on those premises
Minimum requirements:
- A relevant Agricultural qualification with at least 5 years relevant experience.
- Computer literacy
- The ability to accurately complete administrative tasks
- Bilingual in Afrikaans and English
