Commercial Manager

Groep 91 Uitvoer, a citrus producer and exporter in Letsitele has a vacancy for a Commercial Manager.

The purpose of the role is to optimise Groep 91’s long-term nett farmgate income through the management of an integrated fruit export and logistics strategy.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of all Groep 91’s fruit exports and commercial relationships with international customers. The position will require the management of reporting staff and the successful candidate will form part of the company’s executive committee.

The role requires the following knowledge and personal attributes:

  • In-depth knowledge of the fruit export value chain and/or at least 5 years’ experience in a relevant commercial management position.
  • A tertiary qualification in financial-, commercial- or business management.
  • Analytical-, planning-, communication-, problem solving- and people management skills.

 

The nature of the position will require the successful candidate to hold office on the farm in Letsitele, Limpopo Province. A market related remuneration package will be negotiated. A detailed job description is available on request.
