Technician
Our client is a multinational corporation whose focus is on R&D and the manufacturing of electronic fruit and vegetable sorting machines. They are seeking to appoint a Technician based in the Pretoria/Johannesburg region.
Responsibilities:
- Install, inspect and test computer systems, software and other products
- Upgrading systems
- Offer technical advice to clients
- Telephonic assistance
- Investigate and repair malfunction/error messages on machinery
- Provide relevant feedback to all internal departments
- Ensure that clients are satisfied regarding technical Issues
- Maintenance of technical aspects
Requirements:
- Qualified Electrician/Millwright
- 3 – 5 years’ prior experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong electrical knowledge and troubleshooting experience
- Computer literate
- Self-motivated
- Bilingual (Afrikaans and English)
- Willing to travel locally and internationally
- Valid driver’s license
- Valid passport
- Willingness to work long hours
