Export Admin Coordinator
Our client, specializing in fruit export is an exciting new business based in Paarl. The are seeking to appoint an Export Admin Coordinator to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Timely and accurate preparation of necessary shipping documents for shipping lines, clearing agents and customers
- Ensuring that all export documentation is handled processed and delivered to all necessary parties on time
- Ensuring that loading instructions are correct on the Exporter App System and in the ports’ cold store
- Communicate with all growers / packhouses in both South Africa and overseas to ensure that all export documentation is up to date
- Coordinate and manage coldstores, freight forwarder and shipping line requests
- Communicate with the coldstores PPECB (PPECB authority to export) to ensure the release of signed addendums
- Other ad hoc administrative duties
Requirements
- Grade 12 with a relevant tertiary qualification and at least 3 years’ experience in a fruit logistics environment
- System knowledge and experience of logistic export systems / documentation
- Knowledge of Dipar, Mini Cold Store, Exporter and Saphire would be advantageous
- Computer literate (Excel advanced; MS office)
- Valid driver’s licence
- Strong administrative skills
- Focus on detail and accuracy
- Good communication skills
