Creditors/Admin Clerk

Our client is a retail business specializing in plumbing and san-ware items. The are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced individual with a sound work ethic to join their team. This position is based in Paarl and reports to the Finance/Admin/HR Manager.

Main duties:

  • Full creditors function
  • Cashbook processing
  • Stock maintenance on system
  • Petty cash
  • Assistant to the Finance/Admin/HR Manager
  • Skills development:
    • organize training
    • record-keeping of internal and external training
  • Switchboard duties
  • General administrative tasks

Requirements: 

  • Grade 12 with at least an N6 Financial Diploma
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a full creditors function
  • Pastel or IQ Enterprise knowledge
  • Knowledge and experience of the full MS Office package
  • Excellent knowledge and skills in MS Excel
  • Excellent reconciliation skills
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team
  • Ability to multi-task
