Financial Manager
Simonsig is a well-established wine estate and is recruiting for a suitably qualified individual with a background in agriculture, production and sales to join their team as their Financial Manager.
Key functions:
- Cash flow planning
- Working capital management
- Budgeting
- Management accounts
- Financial compliance- Excise, VAT, PAYE, WCA and UK VAT
- Maintain relationship with bank
- Managing local and foreign treasury
- Accounting function
- Business software (EZY) integrity management
Requirements:
- A B.Com Hons degree with at least 5 years’ experience in a relevant industry
- A qualification as a CA (SA) and a legal background is recommended
- Knowledge and experience of IFRS
- Knowledge and experience of Company and Tax Law
- Excellent knowledge of financial management concepts, principles and procedures
- Strong analytical skills and a sound grasp of systems
- Sound interpersonal skills
- Works well under pressure
- Self-driven and innovative
