Packline Manager
Our client in the fruit farming industry is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Packline Manager to join their team. This position reports to the Packhouse Manager and is based in the Stellenbosch region.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintain a productive packline on a day-to-day basis
- Ensure that quality standards are adhered to and train packers accordingly
- Ensure that correct quality standards are packed
- Sorting
- Product flow from top of line to end of line
- Ensure all packline protocols and procedures are followed
- Managing a staff compliment of ±65
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- 3-5 years’ experience working in a fruit packhouse
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Computer literate
- Good timekeeping
- Able to problem-solve
