Finansiële Bestuurder/Financial Manager (Citrusdal)

Ons kliënt in die Citrusdal omgewing spesialiseer in sitrus verbouing. Hulle bied tans ’n geleentheid aan vir ’n ervare Finansiële Bestuurder om by hul span aan te sluit. Hierdie geleentheid sluit ‘n mededingende vergoedingspakket met ‘n woonhuis op Citrusdal in. Die pos rapporteer aan die finansiële direkteur.

Verantwoordelikhede:

  • Kontrolering van maandelikse boekhouding en voorbereiding van bestuurstate vir drie besigheids entiteite
  • Nagaan en goedkeuring van krediteur betalings
  • Kontrolering van weeklikse loon berekeninge en goedkeuring van betalings
  • Voorbereiding en indien van BTW en EMP verslae
  • Verantwoordelikheid vir ander statutêre opgawes (Vergoedingskommisaris, Gelyke Indiensname, ens)
  • Hantering van valuta termynkontrakte (in samewerking met finansiële direkteur)
  • Verhandeling van valuta betalings
  • Voorberei van finansiële rekords vir jaarlikse oudit
  • Rapportering ten opsigte van betalings gemaak vir vrugte uitvoere
  • Rapportering oor maandelikse besigheidskostes
  • Bestuur van administratiewe personeel

Vereistes:

  • ‘n B. Comm/B. Rek-graad met ten minste drie jaar toepaslike ondervinding
  • Ondervinding in die landbou-, verpakking-, en/of verwerkingsektor sal in die kandidaat se guns tel
  • Goeie rekenaarvaardighede (Pastel, Excel)
  • Dinamiese persoon met fokus op verbetering van sisteme en prosesse
  • Sterk vermoë om data te analiseer
  • Sterk leierseienskappe
  • Sterk menseverhoudinge met die vermoë om mense te kan bestuur en motiveer

Our client in the Citrusdal area specializes in citrus cultivation. They are currently have an opportunity for an experienced Financial Manager to join their team. This opportunity includes a competitive compensation package with a residential home on Citrusdal. The position reports to the Finance Director.

Responsibilities:

  • Checking monthly accounting and preparation of management statements for three business entities
  • Verifying and approving of creditor payments
  • Verifying weekly wage calculations and approval of payments
  • Preparation and submission of VAT and EMP reports
  • Responsibility for other statutory returns (Compensation Commissioner, Equal Employment, etc.)
  • Handling currency futures contracts (in collaboration with finance director)
  • Trading currency payments
  • Preparing financial records for annual audit
  • Reporting regarding payments made for fruit exports
  • Reporting on monthly business expenses
  • Management of administrative staff

Requirements:

  • A B. Comm/B. Acc degree with at least three years’ relevant experience
  • Experience in the agriculture, packaging, and/or processing sector will count in the candidate’s favour
  • Good computer skills (Pastel, Excel)
  • Dynamic person with focus on improving systems and processes
  • Strong ability to analyze data
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Strong human relations with the ability to manage and motivate people
