Stock Controller
Our client is a leading grower, packer, and exporter of fresh fruit (citrus and table grapes) in South Africa. Their production units are situated across the Western Cape, with their head office in Bellville near Cape Town.
The company has a vacancy for a Stock Controller in their Logistics Department at their Head Office in Bellville. The position is available immediately.
A market related total cost to company package is offered with pension fund benefits.
Main responsibilities:
System administration and master files:

- Ensure the accurate tracking, pin-pointing and analyses of pallet movement as per marketing program
- Fruit stock:
- Inventory management and control
- Stock age management and product allocations as per market program
- Intakes and dispatching (export and local market)
- Summarise and communicate weekly planning to relevant parties
- Special market arrangements, i.e. Steri protocol
- Export documentation: Addendum/Commercial Invoice/Packing List
- Follow-up of export and logistics documentation
- Generate marketing stock reports daily
Requirements:
- Matric with relevant tertiary qualification
- At least 3 years’ experience in a fruit export logistics environment
- Knowledge of Palbroker and logistics experience in a fruit export environment will be beneficial
- Previous experience with stock and allocations
- System knowledge and experience of logistics export systems/documentation
- A valid driver’s license
