Key Account Manager
Our client is a leading grower, packer, and exporter of fresh fruit (citrus and table grapes) in South Africa. Their production units are situated across the Western Cape, with their head office in Bellville near Cape Town.
The company has a vacancy in their marketing department for a Key Account Manager at their Head Office in Bellville. The position will report to the Marketing Manager and is available immediately.
A market related total cost to company package is offered with pension fund benefits.
Main responsibilities:
- Implementation of marketing plans
- Liaison with logistics and packhouses
- Customer liaison
- Managing of overseas stock and sales
- Managing the weekly supply / demand plan
- Managing of supply chain from farm / packhouse to end customer
Requirements:
- Post-matric with 5 years’ experience in the fruit export or related industries
- A tertiary qualification to support the application in any related field would be considered
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally from time to time
