Marketing and Solutions Sales Specialist

Our client specializes in the production and distribution of bovine genetic material to various clients around the world. They are looking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Marketing and Solutions Sales Specialist to join their local team.

The Marketing and Solutions Sales Specialist will champion the client’s brand and products in the South African market. The incumbent will represent our client and provide a wide-range of support to their Sales Agents to assist them to grow their market share and sales.

This position reports to the General Manager and is based in Somerset West in the Western Cape. 

Responsibilities and duties will include the following:

  • Technical sales support and training
  • Key accounts management
  • Marketing activities
  • Sales team communication and management
  • Direct sales and sales responsibility for some products

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 with a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science or related field
  • 3 – 5 years’ relevant sales and/or key account management experience
  • Excellent client liaison and negotiation skills
  • Excellent computer skills (MS Excel)
  • Sound commercial competence
  • Must be self-motivated with a positive attitude
  • Strong communication, relationship, and networking skills
  • Ability/willingness to travel (locally)
