Landgoedbestuurder / Estate Manager

Ons kliënt in die Kouebokkeveld is tans op soek na toepaslik gekwalifiseerde en ervare persoon om as hul Landgoedbestuurder aan te stel. Die geskikte kandidaat sal verantwoordelik wees vir ‘n plaas van ongeveer 350ha waarop appels, pere en nektariens verbou word.

Hierdie pos rapporteer aan die Direkteur van vrugte en die oorhoofse verantwoordelikhede sluit in:

  • Verbouing van vrugte
  • Produksiebeplanning
  • Plaag- en onkruidbeheer
  • Finansiële bestuur
  • Voorraadbestuur
  • Toerustingbestuur
  • Huishouding en higiëne
  • Veiligheid en gesondheid
  • Bestuur van menslike hulpbronne
  • Administrasie

Vereistes:

  • ‘n Toepaslike B-graad of drie-jaar landbou diploma
  • Minimum van 10 jaar toepaslike ervaring
  • Kennis van landbou en relevante wetgewing
  • Ervaring in die beplanning en opstel van ‘n finansiële- en produksie-begroting
  • Progressiewe ingesteldheid ten opsigte van wêreldklas-standaarde
  • Vermoë om effektief take te kan prioritiseer in ‘n hoë-druk produksie omgewing
  • Vaardig in die oplei van suksesvolle spanne
  • Rekenaarvaardig

Our client in the Koue Bokkeveld is currently looking for suitably qualified and experienced person to appoint as their Estate Manager. The suitable candidate will be responsible for a farm of about 350ha on which apples, pears and nectarines are grown.

This position reports to the Director of fruit and the overall responsibilities include:

  • Cultivation of fruit
  • Production planning
  • Pest and weed control
  • Financial management
  • Inventory management
  • Equipment management
  • Housekeeping and hygiene
  • Health and Safety
  • Human Resource Management
  • Administration

Requirements:

  • An suitable bachelor’s degree or three-year agriculture diploma
  • Minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience
  • Knowledge of agriculture and relevant legislation
  • Experience in the planning and setting up of a financial and production budget
  • Progressive mindset towards world-class standards
  • Ability to be able to effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure production environment
  • Proficient in training successful teams
  • Computer literacy
