Junior Logistics Administrator
Our client in the fruit export industry is seeking to appoint a Junior Logistics Administrator to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a passion for service delivery. This position is based in the Somerset West/Strand area and will report to the Logistics Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Processing of supplier invoices
- Ensuring correct rates according to contractual agreements
- General administrative tasks
Minimum requirements:
- Grade 12 (tertiary education in accounting, commerce or logistics will be advantageous)
- 1 – 2 years’ administrative experience (experience in a logistics environment will be advantageous)
- A thorough understanding of basic mathematics
- A strong understanding of administrative processes
- Computer literate with proven knowledge and skills related to MS Excel (including VLOOKUP, Pivot tables, etc.)
- Attentive to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work accurately and according to deadlines
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Team player
