Assistant Marketers (European Markets and Far East Markets)

Our client in the fruit industry distributes and markets the fruit of South Africa’s leading deciduous fruit producers. They currently have an opportunity for two dynamic individuals to join them as Assistant Marketer for the European markets and the Far East markets. This position reports to the Marketing Manager and is based in Somerset West.

Responsibilities:

• Assistance in the marketing and program management function of fruit
• Communication with both internal and external stakeholders
• Inventory management and allocations for unloading
• Logistics planning
• Customer communication
• Reconciliation of programs
• General administration

Requirements:

• Relevant qualification in Marketing/Logistics
• 2 Years’ experience in marketing in the fruit industry
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Afrikaans
• Good administrative and computer skills (MS Excel and MS Office)
• Good interpersonal skills
