Human Resources Manager
Our client is a leading grower-exporter of tablegrapes. They are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Human Resource Manager to join their team. This position is based in Paarl.
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the HR Manager will be expected to multi-task across a range of essential functions, including:
- HR strategy & planning
- HR policy & procedures
- Compliance to statutory, legal & HR best practices
- Industrial relations, discipline & dispute resolution
- Performance management
- Training & development
- Recruitment
- BBBEE and social welfare management
- Security and maintenance management
- Management of the accreditation processes, SIZA, WIETA, EUROGAP, TESCO, Woolworths, Farming for the Future and GlobalG.A.P
Requirements:
- Com Human Resources or National Diploma in Human Resource Management
- 5 year’s relevant generalist experience in the agricultural sector
- Experience in the management of accreditation processes
- Excellent working knowledge of SA labour legislation
- Sound leadership and people skills
- Good communicator with strong interpersonal and analytical skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships
- Strong conflict management and problem-solving skills
- Innovative and independent
- Action orientated
