Trainee Social Auditor & Administrator
Our client, Partner Africa is a leading UK NGO whose purpose it is to improve working conditions and livelihoods of workers and producers in African supply chains. They are client-focused and positively engage with their clients to identify, address and report on social, environmental and governance (ESG) issues in their organisation and supply chains and adopt responsible business practices.
They are looking for an energetic and self-driven individual who is passionate about improving working conditions in Africa to join their team and undergo training as a Social Auditor and Administrator.
Key Performance Areas:
- Training to become a SIZA/WIETA lead auditor
- Administrative support
- Training to become a language and technical report reviewer
- Successful completion of 3 APSCA exams
- Active participation and support with auditor training and monthly calibration
Requirements:
- Relevant degree in Humanities, Social Development / Development Studies, Social Sciences, International Trade, Human Resource Management, Human Rights or Law
- Any experience in the agriculture environment, i.e. research / development program support etc. will be advantageous
- Excellent command of the English language, especially in the written form
- Must be able to speak and understand Afrikaans.
- A third language, i.e., isiXhosa would be desirable.
- Excellent computer skills (MS Office)
- Client centric
- The ability to function well in a team
- Must be able to work without supervision
